The house had been renovated and now it was the garden's turn. The client wanted to retain the atmosphere of the old garden, including as many of the old trees as possible. To make the new pool blend in with its surroundings, an irregular natural stone was used as the paving around it. The level area of the garden was taken up by the pool. So a retaining wall was built in the sloping part to extend the level area to provide space for sun lounges by the pool.
